About the project
The project was funded through ReLOaD, an EU programme run by UNDP that supports local projects chosen with municipalities. It ranked first on Gostivar’s 2019 list and opened a shelter for stray dogs in the former barracks at Dolna Banjica.
What happened
Shelter opened on 25 November 2019 in the former barracks at Dolna Banjica
IGI ran it for the first months; the Municipality of Gostivar was to take over after about five more months
