Our mission

We support people in Polog, especially young people, to take part in the decisions that shape their communities.

IGI started in Gostivar as a group of volunteers caring for the environment and families in need. Since 2016 we’ve been a registered non-profit, working with local institutions and international partners.

Who we work with

  1. 01

    Young people, 15–29

Training, youth exchanges and local projects in Gostivar and the Polog region. Each open call says who can apply and when it closes.

  2. 02

    Schools, NGOs and municipalities

We plan and run projects with local partners, from school programmes to river surveys with Mavrovo National Park.

  3. 03

    Funders and institutions

Every project page lists the funder, dates, location and results. Our reports are published on this site, ready to download and cite.
